Objective: The VCHRI Clinical Research Unit biobanking service provides biobanking services on a contract basis to researchers. The VCHRI CRU’s flexible service model allows each biobank to choose which services they wish to use and can involve day-to-day activities such as patient consent, sample collection and processing. Each individual biobank is responsible for managing a system that allows researchers to access samples for ethically approved research protocols.
