BC Bronch Biobank, Canada

Registration Status: Completed

Objective: This Biobank will serve as a hub for studies and researchers looking for biological samples from various disease indications such as COPD, interstitial lung disease, asthma, lung cancer, and bronchiectasis. We hope that by creating this unified Biobank, researchers can not only use the samples but also help in the recruitment of new participants with the goal of replenishing samples for future studies. This biobank will serve as the foundation for local, national, and international collaborations for researchers interested in interrogating airway epithelial cells and bronchoalveolar lavage samples for a variety of respiratory disorders.
