Registration Status: Completed

Objective: The purpose of the BC Lung Biobank is to facilitate investigation of the cause, development, diagnosis and treatment of lung diseases. Samples and their linked information will be made available to researchers who are conducting research projects that aim to improve our overall understanding of these diseases. The samples will be used to investigate lung diseases including genetic (meaning related to genes or hereditary), immunologic (meaning the immune system or the system your body uses to fight disease) and other factors that influence occurrence, response to therapy, and outcomes, as well as act as a resource for internal Biobank research projects.
